Completing a puzzle counts, whether you win or lose. One completion per UK calendar day counts towards your streak; missing a full day breaks it. Saving starts when you choose it and can include today’s completed game.
Your history stays here until you delete it or your browser removes it. It won’t sync to another browser or device. Private browsing or clearing website data may erase it.

Separately, Cloudflare measures visits and we collect aggregate gameplay events such as completions, hints and share presses. Gameplay events include the puzzle date, guess count and outcome, but no guesses, names, email addresses or persistent player IDs. The browser remembers which events it has sent to avoid duplicates. Streak saving doesn’t add any analytics tracking.
